Sending mail uses Cloudflare Email Sending, in beta, which needs the Cloudflare Workers Paid plan to reach any address. What it costs

The Today screen: four domains and the sending budget need a look, each with its reason, above new mail.

What needs you, first.

Today reads every domain in every account and puts what needs a look at the top, each with one sentence on why: nameservers not switched yet, development mode left on, a registration about to lapse, a sending limit close to its end. Fix it and the card settles back into line.

New mail, the latest deploys and a week of traffic follow underneath, so one glance tells you whether today is calm.

Every domain, down to the record.

All of them, at a glance.

Search, filter what needs you, and pin the domains you check most. Every card shows its status, its plan and its requests over the last seven days.

The Domains list: each domain's status, plan and requests over seven days, two of them flagged.

DNS, without the dashboard.

Add, edit and delete records, start from a template, or import a BIND zone file. A deleted record can be undone, and a mail check tells you whether MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC are in place.

DNS records for a domain, grouped by type, with filters for A, CNAME, MX and TXT.

SSL, cache and security.

Change the SSL mode and HTTPS settings, purge the cache, or turn on development mode or Under Attack mode. Each change says what it does before you make it.

Traffic over a day, a week or a month.

Requests, bandwidth, the share served from cache, threats, visitors and page views, straight from Cloudflare analytics.

Seven days of traffic for a domain: totals and a chart of requests per day, cached and not cached.

Mail on your domains, answered from your phone.

One inbox for every address.

Mail sent to any address you route on any of your domains lands in one inbox, with sent mail, archive, trash, search and an alert when something new arrives.

The mailbox is a Worker that Edgepost sets up in your own Cloudflare account in one step. Your mail stays there, in your own database and storage bucket.

The Mail inbox: messages to several addresses on the user's domains, with a New message button.

Read it safely.

Threads open with their attachments. HTML mail is shown with scripts blocked, and remote images, which can track you, load only when you ask.

A message thread with a PDF invoice attached, and reply, archive and delete actions.

Reply as you@yourdomain.

Reply, reply all or forward from the address the mail was sent to, with the domain's signature and logo already in place. The people you write to are suggested as you type.

Workers and Pages, at hand.

See every Worker and Pages project with its routes and its latest deploy. Follow a Worker's live logs, roll back to an earlier version, and keep an eye on the domains you registered with Cloudflare and when they renew.

The Compute screen: three Workers, a Pages project and the registered domains.

Set up once, the way you work.

Add several Cloudflare accounts and switch between them with a tap. Give each domain its signature and logo, lock Edgepost with Face ID or your fingerprint, choose light or dark, and pick your alerts: new mail, your sending budget, deliveries.

At home on iPhone, iPad and Android.

On an iPad, Edgepost uses the room the way iPad Mail does: a sidebar, the list beside the message or the domain, and a sheet to write in. On Android it follows Material Design, down to the back gesture.

Nothing in between.

Edgepost has no server. Your API token stays in your device's secure storage and is sent only to Cloudflare. Your mail is kept in your own Cloudflare account. The author never sees your domains, your mail or your token.

An Edgepost server There isn't one: no account, no analytics, no ads.

  • Least privilege, made legible.

Create a Cloudflare API token with just the permissions you want to use. When a token can't do something, the app names the exact permission to add.

  • Your Worker, your rules.

The app deploys the mail Worker into your account with a key it makes on your device. Delete the Worker, its database and its bucket in Cloudflare and your mail is gone.

  • Locked when you leave.

Turn on app lock and Edgepost asks for Face ID or your fingerprint, and hides its content in the app switcher. Read the privacy policy.

Free, and open source.

Edgepost is free, with no in-app purchases. Its source is public under the MIT licence: the app, and the mail Worker it deploys into your account. Read it, build it, or send a fix.

Is Edgepost made by Cloudflare?

No. Edgepost is an independent, open-source app by Mourad Ghafiri. It isn't made, endorsed, sponsored or supported by Cloudflare, Inc., and isn't affiliated with it. It works through the public Cloudflare API, with a token you create in your own account and can revoke at any time.

For help with Edgepost, email contact@edgepost.dev or open an issue, not Cloudflare support. For your Cloudflare account or its billing, contact Cloudflare.

What does it cost?

The app is free. Cloudflare bills your own account as it always does, and Edgepost works with domains on any plan.

Sending mail uses Cloudflare Email Sending, which Cloudflare lists as a beta. Sending to any address needs the Workers Paid plan, which includes 3,000 emails a month; sending to addresses you have verified in your account is free on every plan. See the Email Sending pricing page. Edgepost shows how much of your sending budget is left and can alert you before it runs out.

Which permissions does my token need?

Only the ones for what you want to do. Read access lets you look around; each feature that changes something needs its matching edit permission, and the app tells you which one is missing when it is. The setup screen walks you through creating the token in the Cloudflare dashboard.

Where is my mail kept?

In your own Cloudflare account. Mail to your domains is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing to a Worker the app sets up there, which keeps it in a D1 database and an R2 bucket of yours. Your phone keeps a cache to show it quickly. Nothing passes through anyone else's server.

Can I use several Cloudflare accounts?

Yes. Add one token per account and switch between them with a tap. Today tells you when another account needs you or has unread mail.

Take your domains, and their mail, with you.
